Toby Keeley

Toby joined the Royal Air Force in 2003 and completed 16 years of service as a Fast Jet Pilot accruing 3000hrs of flying time. Operationally he flew the Tornado GR4 including two tours of duty in Afghanistan before being posted to IV(R) Squadron at RAF Valley, Anglesey to teach the next generation of RAF Fighter Pilots on the Hawk TMk2. In 2016 Toby was proudly selected as a Pilot of the world famous aerobatic team the Red Arrows where during his 3 years on the team, he flew on three global tours representing the UK in the Far East, Middle East and North America. The culmination of his RAF career was flying in the position of the coveted ‘Synchro Leader’.

Toby had a short spell in the airline industry flying the A320 and joins the team at FPT delivering aerobatic and formation instruction, UPRT training and experience flights.

Having grown up in Sussex, it is a delight for Toby to be flying at Shoreham, delivering instruction and sharing his unique flying experiences and enjoyment of flying with others.
