Matthew Hill

Matthew turned his passion for engineering and all things old into flying all things old – that didn’t pay the bills so he became an airline pilot!

Initially charter flying in twins both in Europe and the Caribbean he then became a First Officer flying Dash-8s this quickly led to his command and then a training captain, he subsequently flew Bae 146’s and Boeing 737’s all the time maintaining his passion for real aeroplanes.

He held a UK display authorisation for nearly 30 years and continues to indulge in aerobatics flying his own RF-4 of which the FPT fleet of Fireflies descend from.

Matthew has flown over 10,000 hours and has been instructing for 25 years.
